Creating iOS 7 Apps Discussion > What would you like to see in the new book?

Now that iOS 7 has been released, what would you like to see in the new book?

Hello, I've read your first edition and looking forward to seeing the revised edition. Some things I would be interested in seeing are:

- Changes to XCode 5
- Migrating from iOS6 to iOS7
- Supporting both iOS6 and iOS7 in an app

Martin,

Thanks for the feedback. I don't run down all the changes between Xcode 4 and Xcode 5, because I'm partially aiming the book at new developers. Still, everything will be done in Xcode 5--so you should get plenty of information about how to use Xcode 5.

As far as migration and support of iOS 6, i'd love to include it, but I'm so constrained on what I can fit in the book, there just isn't room. Besides, I think that's a big topic. You could probably write a whole book on that topic alone.

I would love to have the step by steps separate from the text explanation.

May be its too late but more on background transfer and background fetch and also UIKit and custom view controller transmissions!
