Creating iOS 5 Apps Discussion > Thanks & a Tiny Typo
Thanks. I'm glad you're enjoying the book.
Good catch on the typo. I just checked the PDF and it's incorrect there as well. I'll post it to the list of errata.
Hmm...Oddly enough, when I copy/paste from the PDF, I get the correct entry. Well--it has smart quotes instead of normal single quotes--but I get /0 instead of /o. Maybe it's something odd in the formatting? Not sure. Still, I'll add it to the errata.

I'm a professor of computer science and physics. My Ph.D. is in theoretical physics. I now teach almost exclusively computer science, but when I teach physics, I use LaTeX to typeset homework and exam solutions. Hence, I've gotten to know far more than I ever wanted to about mathematical typesetting.
Your coverage of Objective-C was really excellent. I know a lot of programming languages and teach an upper level course on the principles of programming languages. This spring I'll be incorporating concepts from Objective-C for the first time.
I've now got a stretch of free time and am looking forward to doing the Health Beat app.

Thanks Bob.
Let me know how the Objective-C stuff goes in the classes.

First, Rich, I'd like to thank you for writing this book. I'm not too far into your book yet, but it seems to be significantly superior to the other books on the market. I'm very pleased by the fact that you are doing things right and using the new technologies Apple has developed from the first chapter on.
Second, I'm guessing that the Scott who posts on this forum is the Scott who posted the glowing review on Amazon.com that led me to this book. If so, thanks! I really appreciate it!
I noticed a tiny typo on page 51. At least it is page 51 in the Kindle version I am reading on my MacBook Pro. (I've ordered the paperback version, but it won't be here until tomorrow.) In the Note, you refer to "A" as {'A', '\o'} rather than {'A', '\0'}.
Again, thanks for such a great book.
